Bolstering its reputation as a dependable service provider for transport bodies, the Queensland Government’s Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) has engaged UMS to deliver a range of facilities management services.

Consistently working alongside transport bodies and authorities for more than 25 years, UMS has fostered an in-depth understanding of what a cohesive strategy and genuine coordination looks like for an organisation like DTMR.

Starting out on a small-scale maintenance contract, UMS’ body of work extended to incorporating extensive grounds and horticultural services, infrastructure maintenance, bus stop cleansing and street furniture upgrades where required.

UMS now manages a range of responsibilities across DTMR’s metropolitan bus network, which comprises of 26 Busway locations, 3 Interchange locations, 12 Park ‘n’ Ride locations across Brisbane CBD and stretching as far as Burleigh Heads.
