A Growing Team of Safe, Trusted Experts
UMS’ growth is seeing the business promote our best people and attract industry experts.
Our dynamic team continues to evolve with valued employees recognised for their hard work and great results, as well as having fresh recruits help renew how we think, listen and act in our clients’ best interests.
At UMS we believe in acknowledging hard work and a dedication to smarter service delivery when we see it.
So, we have appointed Mark Baker to the role of Project Coordinator, Rail Services as he has played an integral role in growing our relationship with Metro Trains Melbourne in the delivery of Graffiti Management, Litter Control and Rubbish Removal services to the metropolitan rail services operator.
We also welcome a few new faces to the business and we look forward to seeing them take the lead in their respective roles, helping our teams deliver greater outcomes for our valued clients in the future.
Michael Varga has begun his journey with UMS in his role as VIC State Manager – Buildings. He is an experienced service and business development manager with a background as an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, and most recently has been working for AE Smith as a Project Consultant.
We have also had James Burris join us as Buildings Account Manager, having previously worked in project management and facilities management/maintenance roles he will make a valued addition to Victorian Buildings team.
It’s also wonderful to see Richard Thomas rejoin UMS as Grounds and Open Spaces Contract Manager, previously working for 12 years as a Contract Coordinator for our City of Yarra Grounds and Parks Infrastructure Contracts.
“I am very happy to be back at UMS as I really missed many of my teammates and the culture at UMS where everyone contributes to the success of the business from the field to the boardroom,” said Richard Thomas.
